Whidbey 101
Purpose:
Provide a two hour overview of Island County programs with an environmental stewardship theme.
Description:
This two hour session has been held twice each year at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeland on Whidbey Island. About fifteen organizations each take three to five minutes to explain what they do and how people can get involved. Following the meeting participants have the opportunity to explore various displays and ask questions.
Volunteer Oppportunities:
Help staff the Beach Watchers booth, or provide general leg work in setting up the event.
