Marine Education Center
Coupeville Wharf
Purpose
Provide engaging interpretive displays to help the public understand the significance of water resources for marine life.
Description
In the past, we've applied technical, carpentry, and puzzle skills in rearticulating marine mammal skeleton displays. At the Wharf, you will find: Rosie the Gray Whale and Rudy the Dall's Porpoise
This project will significantly expand the educational and interpretive exhibits in the breezeway of the Coupeville Wharf.
We are now focusing on new interpretive displays that help the public understand the importance of water quality to all aquatic and terrestrial residents of Puget Sound.
Volunteer Opportunities
Are you good at developing engaging education displays, or at carpentry, or at designing ways to use some new scientific instruments we now have?
