Shore Stewards
Purpose:
Reach out to shoreline property owners to make a commitment to being stewards of their waterfront, and provide them the information to do so.
Description:
The Shore Stewards program encompasses eight counties in the northern Puget Sound area. WSU Extension in Island County and the Island County Marine Resources Committee collaborated with selected Beach Watchers to implement the program. .
