Beach Log Newsletter

Purpose:

To keep volunteers informed on pertinent Beach Watchers and Puget Sound information, and to provide a source of continuing education through stimulating articles.

Description:

The Island County Beach Watchers' official newsletter is written, edited, and maintained by a staff of volunteers. The Beach Log is now received electronically by four hundred people including volunteers, interested public, and civic organizations. Those who prefer continue to receive their newsletter by postal mail.

Volunteer Oppportunities:

There is always a need for volunteers to act as reporters on various Beach Watchers events and activities or to write on subjects of interest to Beach Watchers. Others are needed to fold, staple, tape, and post the Beach Logs that are sent through the mail.
